High abrasion-resistant Technodur® and Technosphere® rope products are constructed with a nickel wire core and a thick layer of Tungsten Carbide and Ni-Cr-B-Si alloy. Deposit thickness of the rope ranges from 2mm-10mm, packaged in 20kg reels. The oxyacetylene torch assembly, Technokit T2000, makes welding easy and economical. When applied, there are no fumes and the coating is virtually crack free with limited to no deformation. Multiple layers can be applied which are machineable to achieve the desired thickness and shape. Applications include drill bits, stabilizers, blades, scrapers, feed screws or any application on non-martensitic steels and weldable stainless steels.

TECHNOPOWDERS

Technogenia developed the Technopowder product line consisting of nickel based powders and pre-mixed powders using crushed or spherical tungsten carbide. These powders can achieve 40-60Rc and they can be applied using the Technokit T2000, PTA or laser cladding equipment. Multiple layers are possible which can be ground to achieve the desired thickness and shape. Technopowders are FDA approved for use in the food industry.
